Application
St3sp steel is used in load-bearing elements of welded and non-welded structures and components that are used in positive temperatures. It is used to make thick- and thin-sheeted products, rolled and shaped profiles (channel sections, I-beams, angle bars, strips, scopes, mountings, etc.). It is also used for pipes for various uses and with different cross-sections, forgings, stampings and other metal components. It is used in civil and industrial construction, and in above-ground, overground and underground railways.
Welding
St3sp steel can be welded without preheating and subsequent heat treatment. However, for components with gauges over 3.6 cm, it is advisable to heat the material to 100°C and subsequently heat-treat it.
