Application
Steel grade K76 is used in the production of railway rails of the P75, P65, P50 type and other steel rail products.
Welding
Due to its high carbon content, steel K76 belongs to the class of hard-to-weld steels. Therefore, only some types of welding can be used to bond rails – aluminothermal welding, oxyacetylene pressure welding, electrocontact welding, and electric arc welding.
