Characteristics of steel grade 70
Steel grade 70 is a non-alloy spring steel produced to the requirements of GOST 14959 and DSTU 8429.
Classification: Carbon spring steel.
Products: Flat steel and rolled sections including shapes, ingots, forgings, stamped parts.

Application:
Steel grade 70 is used to make parts, which, after quenching and tempering, are required to have higher strength and elastic properties, e.g. shocks and springs.
Welding
Not used for welded structures.
