Application:
Steel grade 15 is used to manufacture parts that have high ductility and are operated at temperatures from -40 °С to +450 °С, e.g. hooks, screws, bolts and other parts, as well as thermochemically treated parts with high surface hardness, e.g. cams, nuts, levers, etc.
Welding
Steel grade 15 has no welding restrictions, except for thermochemically treated parts.
Welding methods: manual metal arc welding, submerged arc welding, electric resistance welding.
