Steel 08kp characteristics
Steel grade 08kp steel is a general-purpose quality structural steel. In the construction segment, it is used to manufacture metal structures, closed and unclosed profiles, corrugated deck, etc. In the machine building industry, steel grade 08kp is used to manufacture gaskets, bushings and washers, as well as for other parts of non-responsible and responsible purposes , including after chemical heat treatment.

Application
Due to the price-quality ratio, steel grade 08kp is widely used to manufacture welded parts, as well as products after chemical heat treatment (grouting, nitrocarburising and nitriding), which undergo wear during operation, including bushings, rods, etc. This steel is also used to manufacture parts by stamping and forming.
Welding
Steel grade 08kp can be welded without restrictions, except for parts that have undergone chemical heat treatment. The main welding methods are resistance welding, automatic arc and manual arc welding.
